I just wanted to say I really enjoyed driving to work again today in my new truck.

I spent May till monday of this week on the DSB and all that...

I am so happy I can just drive my new truck, it's as smooth as a Caddy now!!!

Thanks for everyone's help along the way and get out there and drive!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long was your test drive for your new one? I bet it was a least 50 to 100 miles.

Test Drive

Actually, the dealership owner (I used to do computer work for them) let me do the dealer trade for them. I drove a F-150 to the other dealership and picked up the new one. It was about 65 miles each way. I did all the same stuff I could do to the old one to make the vibe. very noticeable and nothing, smooth as silk. The fit and finish is 10 times better, I am really amazed. It was only 55 degrees, but the AC froze me out, the same day I tried my old one (after it was fixed, heh heh) and it was luke warm... I also saved the dealer $35-$50 bucks or whatever they pay a driver... And noone got to beat on my truck before I got it... I also got the 35.7 gallon tank, it was nice to have them fill that up when I picked it up, HA HA HA HA...

The only difference is this is a KC truck and not a VA truck! If there are any KC guys out there, I appreciate the time and effort spent on making my truck!

I really can't believe the ride difference, the truck is free of noises.

It's nice to be a happy Ford guy again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good for you, I hope a can feel the same way after my DSB hearing. I would get a 2005 if they bought back my 04. We will see.

My wife convinced me to buy in December of 03, my common sense to me to wait till the 05's came out, but I gave in.

Good Luck
