I got my Fabtech 6" suspension today done, but the fron tappears to sit higher. Measured it and the back is 1" lower than the front. Anyone know what the deal is? Installer still has not called me back....

Thanks

Call me crazy, but that ain't right! Prolly forgot to install the add-a-leaf!

That's of course if the Fabtech's come with that... I have not a clue. I just enjoy posting wild speculations.

I've lifted several vehicles and NEVER had that issue. Take it back to the people who did the work. Make it right man, make it right.

The 6 inch Fabtech lifts for the 97-03's used to lift the front 6 inches and the rear 3 inches I believe. Depending on how much preload was on the torsion bars, the truck could sit lvel or nose high. I'm not sure if their 6 inch lift for the 04's is a 6/3 lift or not. Also, keep in mind that sometimes when the 04's are completly level, they appear nose high. Something to do with the way the wheelwells are shaped. I've seen several owners with leveling kits make post about being nose high after installation but found out the truck was level after measuring.

Fabtech lifts have always had the pre runner look to them thats why your truck sits lower in the rear.

He told me to let the front "settle" for a week. If it still has that same effect, he said they would make it right whatever it took, including adding a 1" block in the rear.

We will see what happens.

Also, it is 6 in the front and a 3 block in the back.

Also also - the wheel well DOES appear to be different in the front than in the back.

I plan on doing a full detail on Thanksgiving morning, and adding pics later that day or Friday. I am going to some mud drags in South Florida this weekend, so I wont be bale to get pics up then.

Total I paid for the kit + install was $1950

It does look good

Hi Busy Beaver!

I got the Fabtech lift installed three weeks ago. Mine sat about an inch higher in the front too. I haven't done anything about it yet though because I was kinda just waiting for the rims and tires to come in first. I have a friend that works at Fabtech and I actually live in the same city that they are in (Chino, CA). I have been meaning to email him and ask what's up. I'll try to do it tomorrow. I got my wheels and tires put on about 5 hours ago. I'll take some pics during the day tomorrow and send them to you.

I just called Fabtech, looks like I need to add another 1" block in the back. They are aware that some of the new 04's will sit 1" higher in the front.

Dont ya think they should have tested that?
