RP,

I figure if I am going to spend the money I am going to shoot for asinatra's way. Atleast this way I will have some extra grille and can make another one if required.

Now just need to find a used one or I am going to have to suck it up and buy one to cut. Then paint it AZ BG.

It's about 2" x 4" roughly....plastic.....multi colors, slightly rounded corners. Has some words on it, and some numbers, too.

LOL Net...

Has Asinatra posted any 'how-to' or simlar?

I'd like to go beige as well but, I'm not exactly sure how it'd look on mine.

I mean, I like the look of the main grille being beige accented but, down below the beige bumper might be a bit much in my opinon. I think, for now, I might stick with black and just buy that stupid kit (of course, I'll pre-lube) and wait to see how some of you daring guys do it with the paint. Not sure I want to be the guinea pig here either.

Thanks in advance for the instructions.

Where did you get the grill to use?

Did some looking around and found the web site for the GAP. It is made by Abbett Effects LLC located in Jasper Indiana. Their number is 1-800-407-8937 for info and to order. The E mail address is douga@grilleaccentpiece.com. They should be able to answer all questions about prices, etc.

I almost forgot, their web site is http://www.abbetteffects.com.

wait till you buy it and take it out of the box and see how light and flimsy it is. then you'll know pain....

odd thing is that the ebay vendor i bought from apparently is a FORD dealer. the part even comes from them in a MOTORCRAFT box.... i think i smell conspiracy....

I'm definately interested....

Also, thanks MPHFX4 for the investigative work. It's alway nice to know where these things are coming from... oddly enough, they're coming from a location about 3 hours away from me. Twerps sound like they're making a killing too..

Hmmm,
Hit a deer a couple of weeks ago, and it busted the grille. I think I'll get the sawzall out and trim a piece out b4 I take it to the body shop...Kevin

A little bright spot for an otherwise crappy thing that happened.

You just have to bite the bullet on the cost. I try not to think about how much I paid for it, and just dwell on how good it looks.

RP-

You just bought a fully loaded 2005 KR...and you're having problems with justifying $55?

Just make the next 55 new members send you $1 a piece. Call it an "enrollment fee".

Kidding! It does seem like a lot.
