Loose / Clicking Seat

I have an 04 FX4 Scab with the Leather Captains Chairs and for some reason every time I accelerate and my weight pushes back against the seat it makes a clicking sound and slightly moves.

Now it does this only when its warmed up inside the cabin, because lately in these cold mornings it doesn't make a sound.

I had taken it to my dealer to have a look at it and they could not find the source of the problem. Nothing is loose and nothing is broken.

When I originally looked at it, I thought it was the seat rails that were actually moving and making a sound, but the sound is very hard to pinpoint to an exact location.

They want me to schedule a day to leave it there so a so called "specialist" is brought in to have a look at it.

Now my question is am I the only one that has this problem?

If anyone else has had this problem please post.

The sound itself is very annoying and my ears are hurting from all the loud music lately......

My seat moved when pulling away, new seat rails cured it for me. Someone here on the board had the same problem and that is what their dealer did.

Rich.

Thanks for the reply.

I took it in to the dealer today and they said the same thing.

The new rail assembly will be going in tomorrow.

Well see if it works out.

Mine does it too. Its subtle, but I can feel the seat shift when I accelerate.

Annoys the hell out of me too.

Mine is a year old on the 30th, so I'm going to take it in next week for that and the rear axle clutch packs.

Otherwise, I'm a happy camper.

Get that fixed Blizt! Last thing you want is the seat to give in the event of a crash. I've seen it. Yikes.

I have the exact same problem in my 01' SuperCab. Do you have manual seat adjustment or electric?? I have electric. Also, side note, I have adjustable gas and break pedals and my brake pedal is very loose when moved forward. There seems to be a plastic clip in there. Anyone else have this problem??

Thanks
Rich

Loose seat back

I have a loos seat back, or at least that is the part I think is loose. I took it to the dealer and they had to special order a part. They seemed to know the issue/problem no questions asked.

They will call me when the part arrives...
