Backordered (of course) - Shop says 2 weeks, so we'll see.....Has a single 10w3v2 in a PORTED box that goes under rear seat. Should hit pretty hard. Now I just need to find a great deal on a JL 500/5 amp so if anyone knows how to get reasonably priced JL products LET ME KNOW!!!

BTW the stereo shop here is a little overpriced. They wanted $899 for a new 500/5.

 

Fosgate 500x1 works well also. JL makes a good product but its overpriced.

 

I need a 5 channel with at least 250w for the sub. But thanks anyway!!

I'm kinda screwed in that aspect. But I REFUSE to buy an amp from them.

It's like $5k over sticker on an '05 mustang. Supply and demand rules. Unless you wait for a year I think it will be hard to find one under MSRP. But if you know where I can find one cheaper I'll cancel my order in a heartbeat.

 

I don't think you'd have to wait an entire year to find a cheap stealthbox. Markup on audio equipment like speakers & stuff is H-U-G-E. I'll have to ask around and see what I can find out.

Anybody have any pictures of the stealthbox for the 04...? And will this fit the Scab as well? I was under the impression that the Stealth boxes come with a self powered option (internal amp), but I guess I'm wrong....

What about the prefabbed boxes from Kicker, with internal powered amps... does anyone know if those are slated for production.....?

I just called my local stereo shop and they said the stealth box for the F150 Supercrew is available and they are in stock. They said MSRP is $599 but they will make me a deal and sell it for $549. Big deal.... I hate buying stereo stuff. I use to get buddy deals at another shop for super cheap. Its funny how much they mark this stuff up. Some stuff almost 500%. My buddy hooked me up with some home speakers they were selling for $2800 for only $500. He told me that was cost plus 10%. It just goes to show you that if you know someone you can get killer prices. Ill have to call my buddy and see if they can get me JL. I dont think they are a dealers anymore.
