Fatherford im interested. You say the diablo's low end tune matches the superchips 92 octane .thats a good sell what does there high end tunes do. I did just go back to the 87 oct and its sluggish, shifts better but no power add so that means superchips only performs with 92 octane. If diablo can give that feel on the low end there high end must be terrific. Also i know they will play the tuners like video games every two months they have a new edition and that does make this one harder to sell to upgrade .

I dont think we can say prices, but I ordered the tuner and intake at the same time, so maybe I got an even better deal???

I'm sorry for the confusion, I should have said stock diablo's 91+ octane is better then Superchips 91+ octane setting. With the diablo though you can +/- the timing/fuel maps to get more even power.

Dont quote me on this, but usually manufactures set a lowest advertised price that business can put out open to the public. They do this so the "small business" have a chance against big mail order places like summit and jegs etc.

Example:
**lap=lowest advertised price=12% off jobber**

Retail: $813
Jobber: $660
LAP: $580.80

Now, if a customer calls, emails, walks in, etc. Then the dealer selling the product can tell them a lower price then LAP. Which I imagine what is happening here. I dont see a reason why yall cant say the prices you bought the tuner for, but maybe troyer/board frowns apon it?

Does anyone have a web sight for Diablo that gives the specifics (hp gain, torque gain, etc., etc.) about the tuner for the F150 04 3valve? I haven’t been able to locate a good description.

You wouldn't want to do that. A potential victim might read it and turn down a race against you. Grow up.

Obviously you never raced for money before. So why dont you do what a grown up should do and keep your mouth shut if you have no idea what your are talking about.

Thank you, pass through.

i don't get the big deal over a small increase like this.....20 hp on a multi-ton vehichle isn't that much.IMHO not starting trouble but don't get it? my vmax is 600 lbs and getting 10 more hp with that was worth it! that is all i am comparing to....if i am out of line please enlighten me...i was really looking at these chips but can't justify the cost vs. perfomance increase.....hp to weight ratio is very small to justify. seems just putting an electric fan accomplishes about the same thing stock? new to the list so please don't flame me to bad! LOL take care everyone and please educate me if i have it wrong. thanks.

Tuners are not just power, fimer shifting, better shift points, throttle lag eliminated(even if you think you dont have any, just wait till you get the programer). You can get better gas milage. My grandfather is reporting 1-1.5mpg increase with the 1714 on the 87 tune while pulling his travel trailor. If you ever decide to swap out gears or get bigger tires you can correct for speedo recal.

With the diablo you can do live data read and if you ever decide to run a good highflow mid pipe you can turn off the rear two O2 sensors so you dont have to buy O2 sims/MIL eliminators. Also do many other tuning things with the diablo then the superchips offers...

I agree with FATHERFORD on the combined overall performance enhancement. When you get 20 to 30 more hp + more torque throughout the full rpm range + higher rpm shift points + firmer shifts and the elimination of throttle lag, altogether they will make a noticeable difference.
