I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I thought this would be a good place to put this.
Can you guys with the lifts please measure the height from the ground to the highest point (excluding the antenna, of course) on your trucks? Also, what lift height and tires you have for that height. I would be most gracious. I want to see if I will have a problem with my garage.

Sure I can do that this weekend. I typically assume I need 7' to clear. I think the truck sat at about 6-3 or 6-4 to start so then you tack on 6" in the front and 4 in the back...so 4" more height there overall and then 2" more for the tires. That would be about 6-9 or 6-10. Just a guess though.

I've been swamped at work and dont want to get all pumped up on MORE mods for my truck with no dispensible income! This site inspires me way too much! Anyway, I dug up my orginal post on the Rancho Lift, here it is...

LABOR:
Roughly 18 work hours (Or 1 week if you have another job at the same time!) I should also point out that part of the labor did include the cutting of some metal bracket that mounted the original rear cross-member. The kit was described to me by a Rancho rep as being completely bolt-in. I’m over it now.
HEIGHT INCREASE:
2.25” in the rear and 5.5” in the front (Yes, this FOUR inch lift raised it FIVE and HALF inches!) With the bigger tires, I got SEVEN inches of total lift!
GAS MILEAGE:
10 city 11 Hwy w/out tuner and exhaust
Currently: 11 City/13 Hwy after SI/SO Maganaflow and 1714 Tuner (4.56 Gears still needed as soon as more cash comes into the picture)
RIDE:
Identical, unless I loosen or harden it with the 9 way adjustable shocks. No tire rubbing. Tows my 4500lb fishing boat like a champion.

Shmidty - Before you go back to work, does your truck sag in the back when you pull your boat or any trailer? Oh, and what are your shocks set at? Just wondering. Thanks, RV
