Ok, so whats up with the middle of the dash on top? I know that its just for storage, putting things like loose change, phone, etc....

But does anyone know of anybody making/having custom things for it? Maybe such as turning it into a hidden storage compartment that when you push down on, it would open up? Or possible a screen that folds up for dvd navigation???

Just a couple ideas i had for that spot of the dash.......

Any thoughts or ideas guys? Any info. of people making things for it?

I used to wonder the same thing.

But ya know, I just rode to & from Reno in my brothers Dodge diesel 2500 4x4 - at least I think that is what it was - And he repeatedly took off his sunglasses & tossed them up on the dash when he didn't need them. Then when he needed them again, he couldn't reach them, cause they'd slid all the way down the dash to the glass! He'd almost lose control of the friggin' truck while he contorted himself trying to reach them!

I was thinkin all the time that this wouldn't happen in my truck, 'cause we got this neat little depression in the center of the dash . . .

So . . . Do whatcha want. I think I'm gonna live with mine a little longer before I decide to do anything!

 

sounds good... thanks for the input. i definately agree with you and it does help to have it there, stopping whatever is in it from moving. As for my sunglasses, got those in the holder on ceiling.

Nobody else? I guess no one (company or individual) has done anything for this spot!?

That's what I do with mine, throw the sunglasses up there. That is the only good thing I have found to use it for.

 

It thus far holds my radar dector, GPS, sunglasses & pack of smokes all at the same time.

What a handy little space. It may see its demise to make way for a center channel speaker should I decide to go with a little 'truck threatre' action...

I was thinking of a nice little navigation system in there, similar to whats in the Titans. Or maybe a center channel speaker... Or both with a DVD setup!
