Speed sensitive wipers?
How the h-e double hockey sticks are these wipers supposed to work? The manual says that they are supposed to speed up as the vehicle speed increases, but I don't see any difference. If I'm driving 40 MPH or 60 MPH I just don't notice any increase in wiper speed!
I am not sure we have that option on our trucks. Where is that in the manual? I have read the manual and would have noticed that nice feature. This is usually found on more luxury cars, isn't it??
Yes is speed sensitive
Make this test, put your whippers in delay mode and drive at 40 and count how many times in one minute the whippers clean the windsheld.
Now speed to 60 and count again, you will find a faster interval at this speed.

My window sticker says it's standard on the Lariat. Don't know about the other trim levels.

How can you say there is no change in speed joker, on page 51 of the owners manual it clearly says when the wiper control is on the speed of the wipers automatically adjust with vehicle speed. The faster your vehicle is travelling, the faster the wipers will go.
I started this thread because I don't see a change in speed when I am driving. So I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the controls. If so, then I'm also wondering if it should go in for service.
