with a lift like that i doubt you would need the snorkle on a turbo...... unless you do off roading, but id go with the Turbo man, sounds awesome and gain in gas mileage also less strain on the engine

So after my lift and wheel (about 7k) I will need to save up about another 6-7 g's for the turbo? Does that sound right?

If so I will have a turbo in about 20 years! lol

Wouldnt want to run 15psi on a stock block 5.4 anyways!!!! Ouch!

Is there anyone making forged shortblocks for the new engine yet? That would be a fun ride, forged and boosted sky high, with a shot of N2O thrown in for giggles. lol.

I think I will go with my lift first, I need to be able to offroad, and stock just doesnt cut it! But a turbo would be nice. Man would it! Now you all got me wanting to spend more money!

Crash! runs 20 psi on his 02 4.6 with stock internals. he was at 478 rwhp. this is with the turbo kit that he manufactured not the STS. the STS will only throw down around 8 psi 330 hp to the wheels.

I can't find the sts web site. Is this the kit that has the turbo under the truck? What do you all think about that. Sounds like a smart idea. Only thing I would worry about would be the oil lines.

Dang!!! Thats sounds like he is running on borowed time! Main thing is a safe tune to keep the a/f ratio safe.
