No problem Blitzkrieg. We are all friends here that share a common bond. We all own quite possibly the best truck on the market right now. A little passion is a good thing, it shows we don't regret our purchase.

Now let's enjoy one of these together----->

Makes perfect sense Bullitt, that's why I bought my XLT. I looked at the FX4 and the Lariat, but felt out of place in those models. I'm a blue coller guy and the XLT fit that perfectly. Not afraid to work hard or get dirty, just like my XLT!

Didn't like the lack of safety in the Ford 2003's and below. Don't like Dodges reliability. Didn't like Chevy's looks. GMC was a bit pricey. Toyota didn't have the double cab out yet. Titan is a$$ ugly. My father-in-law works at a Ford Dealer and I got it for the employee price. Also had good service from the dealer w/ my Explorer. Liked the looks a lot. Safety ratings did a complete 180 from previous years.

Well my last car was an 01 Mustang Bullitt (the car I traded for the FX4) and going from that to a truck was hard enough, but I felt the FX4 Screw fit me well because it had a "sportier" interior. And I guess a sportier feel.

I love the leather in the new truck, and the design surpases the Mustangs plastic interior alot! The Bullitt did have the best seat ever though. And one other thing that made this truck percect for me was that it was FORD! What else do I need?

Tbird it's easy i bought it because i work at ford. Also the price is right. I allmost didn't though don't like new model years so i went out last july picked up a 03. After ten months it grew on me with that in your face look it produces. Seeing all of them in the parking lot it hooked me again.

Hey, I'd like to get a good deal too in Winnipeg. Just seems that all the dealerships here want to screw you over.

Would buy with XPlan too but they won't tell what the price is most places.

Wouldn't mind the A plan but don't know any relatives or friends that work at Ford.

Cool Reason I chose Ford

I Began researching my choice in May of 2003, I was looking at Tundra, Dodge and Ford. Then in June I saw the link to the new 04 Ford truck online and decided to wait till they hit the pavement. After test driving the new one that was it.
Before that test drive I was leaning toward the Dodge, In the begining I was thinking I was going for the Toyota .. until I read about the ongoing brake problems. And I also thought the Tundra felt a bit too small compared to the American trucks, So after testing the 03 Dodge and Ford,, I like the Dodge best and the warranty seemed better as well even though I'd heard that the ford was more reliable. In researching I found the Toyota to be the more trouble free, with the exception of the brakes,,, and I didn't feel like hassling brake issues forever..... GG

I bought mine cause it is a kick a$$ ride inside and out. More people turn thier head and gawk at it then when I bought my 98 Cobra. (Of course I am sitting about 4 feet higher too!) This truck is just too much fun to drive the interior is awesome the exterior stance just looks tough.

I had a '00 Lightning that I was looking to get rid of. I knew I was changing careers and getting into real estate, so I wanted room to haul people around and look like a "respectable adult" (dropped L on 20s wasn't cutting it).

I wound up getting an '03 Toyota Sequoia that was a complete POS. I liked the styling and the interior, but it was mechanical dog poo. I was looking to get rid of it after only a year. Not long after I'd made up my mind to trade, a buddy got an '04 Lariat Screw. After riding in it a few times, I realized it was EXACTLY what I wanted - 4 doors, very nice interior, not too "truck-like," and it had a bed to haul crap in.

I went to the dealership about two months later and bought my white Lariat 4X4 Screw.
