If you got a re-flash, the dealer should have put an “Authorized Modification” sticker under the hood somewhere. If they didn’t you’ll have to go back to the dealer and get them to re-read the altered code and give you a sticker. That’s what I had to do because on May 10th I had a bad #4 coil wire replaced and a re-flash but the dealer didn’t give me a sticker, and I didn’t know to ask for one. Recently, I found out from reading Troyer’s post on this forum, that the new code would be essential for getting a “Superchip 9100 tuner” (not yet released). I asked the service department at my dealership if they would read the code and give me an “Authorized Modification” sticker. They said no problem and did it; took the mechanic about five minutes. I just had it done 10/13/04 when I was there for an oil change. I did bring my paperwork from 5/10/04 just in case they asked for it, which they didn’t.
