Audiophile stereo/sub/amp for sale

I just pulled the audiophile 6 cd changer deck and sub/amp from my '04 Supercrew. Absolutely brand new, flawless condition. Anyone interested? Make me an offer so I don't have to deal with ebay.

The deck alone sells for $250 on ebay (I checked the completed auctions section). Not sure what the sub/amp is worth, but probably at least $350 for the whole load (stereo, amp, sub)

Word of advice, not everyone will be able to install the amp/sub that simple.

Main thing to check first is to look under your driver's side rear seat and find the slit in the carpet. Reach in that slit and see if a plug is there. If you have a plug, then can plug in the amp/sub. No plug, means no easy way to hook up the amp.

I already was going to try this upgrade, but my FX4 did not have the plug under the rear seat. Only heard of 2 people so far who actually did find a plug under their carpet.

So you may not fetch a high price if people can't even hook this up in their truck.

It’s a piece of cake to run your own wires for the sub and amp. I put my sub under the passenger side rear seat, re-located the jack and put a base amp under the passenger front seat

Are you talking the factory amp? I don't see how it's a piece of cake. It doesn't have seperate terminals like aftermarket amps. It's like one big 10-pin plug or something, with all the wires on it. If you got no plug for the amp, then it would a real pain to hook up wires to it.

Cut the plug off and hard wire it or buy the adapter plug from Ford or a shop that does installations. Running new wires is easy.

I don't want to argue over this, but I don't think you're getting the point of what I'm trying to explain. I'm not talking about hooking up something like your Alpine amp and tapping into the factory wiring.

It's for those who want to use the actual factory amp. The amp has a socket on it so you can plug in the plug harness which is under the rear seat. If you DON'T HAVE A PLUG HARNESS, then it would be a real pain to try to identify all those pins in the FACTORY amp. Of course running wires is easy, but there's no simple adapter in this case.

Can you post some pictures? I'd like to see what the head unit and subwoofer look like.
