Remember that your shift will change A LOT after 100 or so miles. Easy to get it just right, then 100 miles later it may be too firm.
I set my Superchips to 12 and was very happy with the settings. 16 lbs works well if you are a hot-rodder. Twenty would be a bit rough grocery shopping. The Superchips seem to be about 18-20 on tune.
With the Diablo it leaves your shift stock unless you tweak it, and stock is lousy.
I set my DP for 120 percent. I wish the two companies would use the same nomenclature...
The 120 percent was fine, but after about 600 miles it starts to feel a little too firm. I get second gear chirps if I'm in a turn or on slick asphalt. That is at half throttle.
Next time I tune it down I'm going to try 100% and just expect it to change over the miles.
