Good deal on a 2006?

I am planning on buying my first Ford truck. I love the F150. I have decided on a 2006 Supercab Lariat 5.4 V8 with leather, sunroof, and a sliding rear window. It is a 4x4, white w/ tan interior. With all the Keep It simple pricing and rebates added in, the price on the sticker is 29,990. I am trying to discover from others what a fair price on this truck would be. What would be a great deal on this truck. If anyone has purchased one similiar recently and could give me any advice or help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

What is the original sticker price? 05s are going for around $10K off sticker and 06s for around $7K from what I have seen. I can tell you the best your going to do is Keep it Simple and the rebates...they will not budge lower than that. At least the dealers I deal with wouldnt.

The original Sticker MSRP is $37,160.00 . With Simple plan price it is $33,441.00. Cash back is $3,500.00. Brings total price down to 29,941.00. It isn't at the dealer I am talking to, but is within 300 miles he said. He also said there is a $200.00 charge to bring it in. So, you think 29,941 is the best price I can get? Thanks.

Yeah...I think it is. You may can get him to drop the $200 delivery fee but thats about as low as he can go on the price.

I just bought a new 2005 SuperCrew 4x4 loaded with everything you can get on it. Sticker was $42,250.00, with the Keep It Simple price and all of the rebates plus a motivated dealer, I only paid $29,975.00. I'm sure they won't deal quite as much on a 2006 since they were trying to reduce inventory but at least you know some ball park figures.

Good luck

Mark

I bought an 05 lariat supercab 4x4 fully loaded with all the goods in August. MSRP was 39K, after all incentives it was 31K, I offered 30K and they took it. 29K seems like a good price.

This is all great info. I am also planning to buy the same Truck, and was wondering about the price. I never heard about the keep it simple deal, so I appreciate the dialog about.

Hopefully, I can share my F1 experiences next year.

I just bought my 06' FX4 for $33k, MSRP was a tad over $38k. This is pretty much a fully optioned FX4. Boy I love this truck! It's light years ahead of my 99' that I had.
