Looking for a well engineered lowered suspension kit

I'm looking for a good kit. I was going to get the Hotchkis Kit. When I called to see about buying it they told me that they canned the product because of problems Ford was having with the truck. I even asked them if Ford Produced the Lightning would they put a kit out. They said no and was very frank about it.

So, I'm kinda ify about messing with the suspension. Althought if any body knows of a nice kit out there would you please post. I liked the Hotchkis kit because it replaced the springs rather that having to cut the factory hangers off.

How do you like it? Besides looks.
Have you had any drive line problems?
Dis-likes?
I take it you installed the kit yourself?
Does it come with new shocks? Sorry I'll do a search!

I looked at Belltechs kit and seen where they offred hangers or springs.

They sure don't show you much on their web site! What kind of truck do you have and do you have any pic?

I'd like to bring it down and put some light weight wheels on.

roush makes rear leaf kits. 2-3in added to a 1-2in shackle you can get a good drop. but the flip kit with a 1in raise shackle seems to be the more popular kit. DJM Belltech they all seem to have the flip. but thats 5in of drop. and your only 2 inches from smacking the frame. i seem to do it every day. but ART makes a air bag assist for the rear now. not to bad on $. even a rear sway can help a lil. just depends on how much you want to go down. as for the front. controll arms, springs, and adjustable coil overs are the options. all designed very well. Belltech was slow getting out the drop kits for the same reason. problems with the driveline. but when they realized it was a problem with the trucks and not the drop kits the finally let them out.

Thanks for the info.

SVTErick, truck looks nice.

So, Belltechs kit is a good kit? I'll have to look at the Roush kit.

Thanks
