Seat Stains

I have the cloth gray seats has anyone noticed that they seem to stain real easy especially in the middle near the mess. Has anyone found an easy way to remove or treat them.

I have a water stain on my drivers side seat. The water stain was just about impossible for us to get out. I had the dealer use their steam cleaner and it finally came out for the most part; however it's still slightly visable.

I bought some carpet and spot remover from Walmart(automotive section). I can't remember the name but it's in a blue can and was recommended by someone in this forum. Haven't tried it yet.

Seems poor that in such an expensive vehicle we might have to resort to seat covers to protect the seats.

I started the last post about seat stains and got some good replies. I also have the medium flint grey seats that stain very easily. Even water stains them. Then you try to get the stains out with something and that something ends up leaving a mark. VERY frustrating to say the least. That blue can from walmart (smell like vinager) seemed to work the best though. I guess Ill have to invest in a Bissel.

It seems most people are complaining about the grey seats staining. Are they the only ones that stain easily or did I miss something? Also those who have stains did you have the seats treated with Scocthgard?

Stop off at walmart on the way home from the dealer and buy a couple cans of scotchguard. Spray the living sxxx out of the interior including the seats, door panels and head liner. Keeps all kinds of unexpected stains from affecting your truck. Best to make a couple or 3 sprayings over a 2 or 3 day period versus just one massive coat. If you dont spray you will regret. Especially with the super light tan seats that ford thought the F150 owners needed.
