another magnaflow question

another magnaflow question

I no this has been beat to death but I no I saw someone with the pics . who has put a magna flow muffler on there stock pipes ? I want to get a tuner and a magnaflow cat but won't happen soon . plus I hate to get rid of an exaust thats new. thought it was svterick but not sure.

Very happy with it, sounds great and I get a little better gas mileage too. The part # is 11236. It cost about $100. buck at a local shop for the muffler and installation. They added about 2’ of 2 ½” pipe and fabricated a couple of hangers.

jp was there any reason they didn't go with the 24 inch muffler instead of 20. so they wouldn't have to add a piece of pipe.

The magnaflow muffler, part #11236 has a 14” body and it is a 4”x 9” oval. The stock muffler is 32”x 12”x 9”. There was about 2’ of 2 ½” pipe added to make it work.
