Nice to see you back dzervit!

As for this topic. I really like my truck. I have had a few issues but to me my '04 is better in all ways over my '02 especially the extra room behind the seat and the doors.

Just thought I'd add a comment about the seats, because they really are different. I sat in the Heritage model (2003 style) and the real 2004 side by side. The seats changed from deep cushions with a backward rake to firmer seats that were more upright. Also, the headrest was more forward to hold the head in an upright position.

Through the 80s and 90s the seats in most vehicles kept leaning further backwards, like a reclining chair. They were great for taking naps, but if I leaned back into the seats I found myself staring at the sun visor. If I sat up straighter to see the road, I lost all back and neck support. After a few hours I would get pretty sore.

Now, a lot of people must like that type of lean back seating, because it was very popular. But, I had decided to find some seats that were more comfortable to me. Within two blocks of test driving my F-150 I knew these seats were what I was looking for. But I can certainly understand they might not suit someone that was used to reclining more.

Shouldnt take you too long D, since yesterday you have hit this site with 30 posts. I would say you definitely have the highest posts/day average. All in all, good to see you are back. I will have to request your services on creating a sig for me once I get some pics of the truck and lift in.

Your gripes about interior space are absurd. Read the specs that compare the Dodge and the F150 and you will see what we all know...

I don't think I have to read this thread any further

It's a --shame that you guys are such blind loyalists that anyone that has a contrasting opinion of the F-150 to yours automatically has "an agenda"

There's a lot to like about my 2004 RC STX 4x4, but comfort is definitely not one of them. I have the same complaint as Dwayne about not fitting in the driver's seat comfortably and yeah, I like driving with my arm on the door ledge...I guess I'm a bad driver

There is absolutely nothing beneficial from discouraging opinions or bad reviews. I guess that's all I have to say.

Edited for language...--rp

Heck, I can't believe you missed the one that was posted there about 2 years ago. It had added neon and flashing arrows!

Each his own!

I came from an Excursion, Yes the seats aren't as fluffy no they don't have seat warmers, Mine doesn't even have leather. Not to mention not power. But hey that's what I wanted that's why I bought it. that's why I test drive. I don't understand why someone would buy a truck if they didn't like it to begin with. Interior don't change over time. So therfore I don't understand why someone would get on a ford site and start talking about how they bought a truck that they don't like and it is the worst truck of all. Don't make much since. I myself wouldn't tell anyone I did something like that!

I wonder if anyone here has noticed that he came in, posted his contriversal post, replied thrice, and has not come back since.

In short, he smacked the hornet's nest and ran off without much more than a smirk on his face and a single bullet in his gun.

Probably about time to get over what he's said and move on. I think just about everyone has a pretty strong opinion about their truck and, typically, I'd think that opinion is pretty positive.

Review his past posts. He's bashed ford since October of 03' when he joined our site. Each and EVERY post mentions his 'former Dodge' and how happy he was with it.

Let's move on shall we?

I did. Hence the sarcastic "poopie pants" post... the thread was dead and needed humor.

Love the hornets nest analogy!
