I've been thinking of that Skyjacker kit but I already bought the Daystar Leveling Kit (just never got around to installing it). Any takers? ;-)

Good question about leaving out the additional rear leaf spring. I would think by not adding it the truck would sit level. Adding it would most likely stiffen the ride with an empty bed.

How much you looking to get for your daystar kit? Is it the red or black ones?

I dont think I would skip the rear spring. The truck sets pretty level with the rear spring added. I would be suprised if it looked right without the rear spring. The kit lifts the truck more than the spacer kits. I felt like the $600 was pretty reasonable for the added heigth. I have a cousin who did the leveling kit and my truck sits quite a bit higher than his. Side by side I have a couple of inches on him in cab heigth. He is running 33" procomp tire that are 17" so we have similar size tires. His truck looks good but my truck looks lifted compared to his.

I think you would be suprised at the ride. There is not a noticable difference from stock compared to the lift. I was suprised.

As for adding pics from the front, I will work on it but I dont promise them any time soon. I am short a camera to take the pics right now. The tires do stick out of the wheel well further than I wanted but they look good (about 3.5" at the front bumber). I will probably end up adding some fender flares at some point. I just havent found the flares I want yet.

JZ150, a couple more questions. Did you have to get realligned after install ? Are you front "toed" in at all (are the wheels straight?) I have seen some that look like the rear end of an old Baja Bug lifted.THanks

Anyone know where this kit is even available from? It's on backorder until next month from the one place I checked with.

Does anybody know if you can fit 35" tires with this lift kit on a 2wd?

It was re aligned after the install but suprisingly wasnt off. My brother did run it a couple of days after installing the kit and then align it so that everything could settle into place. It tracks straight as an arrow.

My kit was back ordered for a couple of weeks and its available through a ton of different dealers. I believe that you can place your order straight through Skyjacker if you plan to install the kit yourself.

The picture from the front gives you an idea of the tires sticking out. They do not stick out as much at the high point of the fender well. I am sure you could put 35" tires under this truck but I am afraid that would be pushing it. SKyjacker says the kit clears 33" tires. They do not recommend 35's. Although I have looked at pictures on here where guys have put 35's under trucks with leveling kits.

Freddy- THanks for posting the pics for me.

I notice Skyjacker kit #4301 for 4x4 and #4321 for 4x2. Are the struts for the 4x4's longer???
