Question I have a Question

I am visiting the F-150 section from the Excursion page( F350 555) F-150 has 6230 miles on it and has shown no sighn of any problems. I have a question on the reliabilty of the 5.4L V8s OHC! I know that the GMCs use the Push rod and i know that it is reliable in the fact in that it is so sraight foward. Any of yaw own 04 F-150 Crew Lariants? Need tips and advice. Thanks!

Well, with 655 miles on mine, it has yet to break down. "Reliability" also depends on fitment for a particular use. Some 5.4 motors from previous years had a nasty habit of spitting out spark plugs. Particularly on the Lightning trucks. Supposedly that issue has been addressed. To the best of my knowledge there is no yaw control on these trucks.

You may also wish to email Rockpick. He can probably give you some input as well.
