It was pretty expensive but 3M typically makes a good product. It should be here sometime today or tomorrow and I plan on doing the job right away. They do reccomend you use the adhesive primer (alcohol and some solvent) but I called 3M and they said to just go with some rubbing alcohol or soap to remove the wax on the paint, the solvent in their primer will perm. damage the clear coat. He said the tape should hold the flares without a problem since this tape is made for body molding on auto and marine applications.
I will keep you all posted.
Eddy - I see the 3m page, but where exactly did you order the tape from? Thanks!

I honestly dont remember where I got the tape. It was an online vendor and it cost around 10 bucks I think. It was well worth it but a pain to get the fender molding right where you want it. Be sure to clean the surface well beforehand too. And you pretty much have to drill into the underside of the fender as well. But it looks and holds great.
