Thumbs up Bedliners

I have a 2004 F-150 FX4 Bright Red truck.

I had a Line-X bedliner sprayed in. I must say this is the best liner. I can shovel gravel out of it, spray it out and it looks new. Lifetime warranty, do worry about bed rusting.

Any comments??? What do you have???

I have the Ford drop-in liner (I think Duraliner makes it). It looks great. If it messes up my bed, I'll just have a Line-X sprayed on. It cracks me up when the guys with spray-on liners talk about how drop-in's mess up your bed and how much better a spray-on protects the bed. I wonder if they realize what the spray-on company did to the bed before they sprayed that liner on!

I knew what they did to my bed before they sprayed Line-X, but the thing is that it is covered back up. I had a 96 dodge ram that they put a factory bed liner in and a couple of years after I had it and the liner was all gouged up from throwing stuff in the back I decided to get a new one. Pulled it out and was like holy S*&% underneath was covered in rust, surface rust but rust none the less.

Anyways, I have Line-X now and I will probably stick with them because I like the look and the protection that they offer. But to each their own on making decisions on what to spend money on.

Line-X VS. Drop In

I would have to agree...

I got a Line-X from the start because my Ford did not come with a factory liner. For the cost, I wanted to buy one liner. So I went with the spray In. It really tightens up the bed also, you can see this by looking at the underside of the bed, it's amazing.

I do understand the scuffing of the bed that takes place.

Some people beat up their beds then Line-X them. Looks brand new. But if you dent it up, that will always be there!

I got a sprayed in liner and it’s great. Easy to clean and it makes the truck run quieter, must dampen the sound some how.

That is the problem with spray in liners. At least the plastic liners absorb some of the impact therefore you are less likely to dent a bed with a bedliner.

not really, if they are sprayed thick enough, then if they will dent the spray-in, the drop-in will dent also.... btw, I have a speedliner www.speedliner.com

price

mine was $410, but got it for $390 with $20 coupon at Line-X . com

anyway, I had the tailgate option, take off the tailgate spray and also spray the tailgate...

Line-x is good because they take out the bed bolts and other hardware then spray, some others spray over... Don't know why you would have to remove a bed, but it would be horrible to get those bolts after the fact...

$300. Made deal with new company and pushing product for them. Plus everyone I send them I get a $50 kick back. Since I own a local garage they were happy to do it for that.
