Question Why doesn't my new truck have a Dead Pedal?

I've just passed the 48 hour mark of owning my new FX4 Scab, and I just realized it has no dead pedal... To top it off, the rubber mat doesn't cover this area, and I would be putting my foot on black carpet... This kinda sucks.. especially since I plan on keeping this truck spotless...

I'm almost inclined to design something, and make it an aftermarket piece, or at the very least buy something that already exists...

Does anyone share the pain

A piece of plastic that they used to put in the upper left hand side of the floor board. A place where you can rest your left foot.

YES I DO!!!

I was thinking about buying two sets of those aftermarket pedals... some nice aluminum ones or something. Anyways, I'd use one set for the gas and brake pedal and then make a braket to mount the 2nd gas pedal for a dead pedal.

I guess I'm just used to driving my Mustang... and ex Honda (now in a better place)... They both had dead pedals.. and in the Mustang I had a pretty good sized billet aluminum pedal... I'm might just buy a spare, and fab a bracket...

Been years sense I heard of the left foot pedal to rest your tired foot on...Best one I had was on my 1978 Saab...I find the 150 Ford has more leg room and with the power pedals they have now I don't really need one now...

But if I felt the need I would get a piece of hardwood and make a custom one in 5 minutes...While its nice to think you will keep your truck spotless...I have news...Its a truck and trucks are never spotless except at a Truck show or 15 minutes after you clean them up....We add more stress to our lives everyday...Thank God for the Canadian Health Care system here...But still I try and do my part now by not letting this stuff upset me and just enjoy what time I have left...Have a nanner...

Why does everyone call them "Nanners"

It's a BANANA.

So it's a "NANA"
