Superchips Max Microtuner for the 2004 V8 F150 Trucks Available

The Superchips Max Microtuner for the 2004 F150 V8 trucks are going to be available by the end of this week from Troyer Performance, Inc.

Just thought I would let you guys know even though a lot of you probably received the same call I did.

I just ordered mine today. I'm anxious to see what it will do.

Does anyone know if it will adjust the speedo for larger tires?

And also, can it be adjusted to accomodate the changing of the gears from 3.73 to 4.56?

Thanks in advance!

It will reprogram the shift points of the transmission, it will recalibrate the speedometer accuracy when you change tire size.

I think it can add horsepower and increase torque.

It will not change the gear ratio.

I've already ordered mine along with new pulleys and belts. May as well pull ~35Hp at the rear wheels while I'm at it. Now I won't have to guess how fast I'm going.

I'm glad to here the tuner is out. I know that hundreds will buy initially. Let us know how it works and any related problems with the unit or bad effectss on the trucks. I think I'll wait another month or so and see what kind of complaints I read about prior to purchasing one. I'd like to also see how the Hypertech tuner compares.

Is this the tuner where you can hook it up yourself and when you take it back to the factory you can just set it back to stock so they never know you messed with it? Cause I heard something like that was coming out?

Also, what if I have an intake and exhaust? Can I still use it? Will the power gains be larger or smaller?

When you say "DOES ADJUST FOR GEARS!" only means that it improves torque. It will not change the gear ratio.

Only wanted to clear that up and SilvrDrgn is correct.

For those with all the questions on what it does...go to Troyer or to SC website and read up. It will correct the speedo for larger tires, it will make corrections for gears, it will give you more hp...read up, then ask.
Guys who went out and bought it, please keep us all posted on how well it performs. Thanks
