Anyone know the percentage of factory tint that's on my rear '04 screw windows? I'd like to match the fronts. Thanks in advance...

+/-20%, i did 35% on my doors and quarters, looks real clean.

 

I would say 16% to 20%.

 

I think it's about 20%. Up until recently, it was illegal here to match the front windows with the rear privacy glass. I did 30% on the front, I like it.

 

i had mine done with 15%. that was what the shop said was the closest match and it is. you cant tell the difference with the doors open.

that's all FL allows legally, but ya do see some 20% around

My shop said the factory was 15% so thats what I did. If you check my gallery the first pic shows the tinted windows next to each other...

I think mine is 15 or 20 as well. I just went to the shop and said match em up. They did and it looks great on the black truck. I did ask about the law and he said in VA anything under 35% is illegal but they typically wouldnt pull over a pickup unless it looks suspicious and they needed a reason to look inside and run your numbers. Let the shop pic the tint level if you dont care about how dark it is, but everyone is right, you are looking at 15-20 which is illegal damn near everywhere.

 

Went with 5% on my last two trucks, not going to go with it this time because you can't see anything at night!!
