Please define " Hood Shake"
I had the hood shake with a Ford low profile. It was fixed by adjusting the front latch and bump stops. The front was slightly low. By raising it about 1/8 to 1/4" it fixed the problem. This wewas before there was a TSB on it. I believe at least some of the TSB states to do the same type of adjustments.

I believe Quintin posted a summary of the TSB on hood shake if you wish to search it out. The fix was to test the rear hood weather seal for proper fit by placing a piece of paper in the rear opening, closing the hood on it, and pulling it out to see how tight the seal is. If it did not seal properly, the seal could be reinforced by threading some rubber tubing into the hollow center portion of the weather seal.

Mine flutters worst at 80+ mph right in the center of the hood near the wiper cowl. I don't remember whether it did it before I installed the Ford low profile critter shield. I'll get around to fixing it one of these days.
I have an 05 and had the dealer I bought it from put on the Ford Low Pro shield.
I noticed the hood shake the first time I went to 70+ MPH. I also heard a bad wind noise at the rear view mirrors when I got up to that speed. From the sounds of this thread, it could be that both are being caused by that bug shield. I'll have to take mine in and get it adjusted.

I just cut my hood to install my shaker setup and the rear center of the hood is VERY flimsy. I put some hard foam (computer packing foam) in between the bracing and the outer skin. It stiffened it up some. I just think the hood skin in the rear is very flimsy and not tacked to the hood frame very well.
