Rodnash,

I have a six inch lift on my truck and those same size of tires you are looking into using. I had to cut part of the plastic under the front bumper because it was rubbing. Right now I don't have any problems with it rubbing.

Hope this was helpful.

Check out my pictures.

I just posted an answer in the tire and wheel forum to your question. Keep in mind that a lot of things play a part in tire fitment other than lift height. The 6 inch lifts that I have read reviews on (Skyjacker, Pro Comp and Fabtech) all state that they increase the front track width. Also, what wheel width and backspacing you use plays a big part in fitment. The trucks I've seen with the Daystar lift and 35's all had the stock wheels. I have seen one truck with the Daystar lift, 305/70-17 (34x12.50) MTR's and 17x9 inch Eagle wheels. The 34's fit with only minor trimming.

A small suggestion: trust what Wandell says. No one on this forum knows more about tires, wheels, backspacing, lifts, clearances, etc. than he does.

Check out Chemgod's truck. He has the 315/70/17's on stock rims with the front Revtek lift which gives similar height to the Daystar and he says there's no rubbing. I can't recall the name, but there was at least one other truck with that set up and he claimed no rubbing as well.

Dan McDan is right, I have pretty close to that set-up with the 2" Revtek leveling kit. I've had it for about 8,000 miles now and it still handles well and I haven't had a rub yet.
I put a 9,500 pound WARN winch on it now too. I need to update my gallery with all the mods I've got now.
