Question 4.6L f-150's with the rearend vibe?

Are there any people out there with the 4.6L trucks that have the rearend vibration? Or is this only limited to the 5.4L equipped f-150's? Just wondering. Thanks for any info.

Although i can't imagine it would be limited to the 5.4L, i have the 4.6 w/ 3.55LS with no vibe.

So the rearend vibe is happening with both the 4.6 and the 5.4 trucks. Hmmm, if ford doesn't fix this problem by the time the 05's come out, I may have to consider a different brand. This sucks! As much as I like Ford, this may be my only option...

I got so paranoid over the vibration issue I almost cancelled my order. I stayed the course and when it came in it was vibration free. There have been good points made that those of us that participate in these forums get the idea that like 25% of these trucks are vibrating but in reality the chances of you getting one is very slim. There are also a lot of different sorts of vibrations, some of which are getting fixed, some are not. The ones that are not are an even smaller percentage. I think that as the model year wore on we saw less and less vibrating trucks too. I feel for those that have these issues and are not getting the help and service from Ford that they should but I hope that the exageration of vibration occurences due to the nature of these forums does not drive people away from what is really an excellent truck.

I agree. Readings these forums to much can make me paranoid as hell. But I'd say by the time the 05's come out, they'll have the first year model bugs worked out. And those that have the vibe now should get theirs fixed under recall.

I’m still at a loss why some trucks are totally vibration free, no bed shake, no rattles, no steering nibble etc. etc. etc. and some trucks have all the problems and can’t get them fixed. It just doesn’t make any sense.
