And I didn't see any that were solid chrome. So you can chrome plastic? Will normal chrome shops do this or do I have to go somewhere else?

I got the keypad, but I still have my stock handles on right now. I’ve just been checking these out cause they look good; also look expensive. Give them a call at 1-800-558-5499 and see if they have what you want.

Grimalkin - I stand corrected - here is what I found... It looks to be quite expensive and in order for these companies to vaporize enough metal to plate the plastic, it seems as though they would only do it in bulk. Regardless, it seems to be a better process than putting "tape over" chrome pieces on your vehicle - although if the vacuum metalizing pieces chip - getting them re-done would not be as cost effective as getting a new piece and taping it on. You choice!

Many People think it’s impossible to chrome plastic, it is not. The process of chrome plating over plastic is actually a process called vacuum metalizing and it is different than electroplating or chrome plating. Vacuum metallizing is process used to make flash light reflectors and automotive lighting shine like chrome. Vacuum metallizing is the process of evaporating aluminum in a vacuum chamber forming an aluminum cloud which than condenses back on and bonds to the plastic to form a uniform layer, which shines like chrome. After the metalizing takes place there is a protective topcoat applied similar to the ones used in the automotive industry. You can also add dyes to the topcoat to achieve bright chrome colors and different shades of gold, bronze, copper, and gunmetal. It is much more environmentally friendly and cost effective than chrome plating or chrome painting. You can vacuum metalize many materials including plastic, metal, glass, fiberglass, and more.

I think the Boze website has the wrong pic since it doesn't show, but I KNOW I saw a Boze ad in Truckin that had the keyless entry buttons. And the description here claims that keyless is supported.
Go to this picture,

while here is the Boze Accessory page

Personally i think I would want to have the handle bucket painted black to match the truck and leave the handle itself as shiny. To me having the whole dang handle assembly blinging in the middle of my door is a little distracting. Really look at it, the whole assembly is pretty big!!

What about painting the door handles the color of the truck? Is this possible? What is involved in the process?
