Out with the old, in with the new!

Greetings to all -

First time poster, long time reader.

I just paid of my 98 XLT Ext Cab Flareside and had to get the a new '04. Picking up the new Lariat Screw in Aspen Green/Beige tomorrow morning and heading straight for the shore - Jersey Shore that it. I think I'll have some when I get there.
I find this forum very informative and appreciate all the great info. Thanks again.

Eric

Lapinski...you'll soon recognize that the '04 is one of the GREAT vehicles on the planet. It will provide a source of pride and pleasure. After 9 months of ownership, I still admire and stroke my smoothly waxed truck every day. Driving it is like piloting a yacht on calm seas.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the board!

3,000 miles later and the 'first day' effect still hasn't worn off.

You maybe in route to get your new baby right now, so have some 'nanner for a good trip & your new truck!

elapinski,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new truck!

What part of the Philly suburbs do you live in? I'm in northern Chester county.

Enjoy your '04,

Thanks for all the welcomes. And the 'nanners. I got the gallery up and posted a few pictures.

This weekend I got a chance to spend a little time in the new rig. I am very impressed with this machine. I really like the power and comfort. Like many of you, I also have the vibration and hesitation. Hopefully, at the first oil change I will be able to get the PCM reflashed. The vibration will have to wait until a known fix is available.

Grimalkin - This drive much better than my yacht. Check out the gallery and you'll see my other toy.

JohnAndDar - I am not far from you in West Chester. I like what you did with the grill. If I would have gotten black I was going to do the same thing.

Thanks all -
I hope this works....

elapinski,

West Chester, cool, you are nearby! You might want to subscribe to the Northeast Regional forum. There is an ongoing "PA Where are you?" thread that Jaguar started awhile back. I was trying to see if other members in the general area were interested in a get together some time. So far, not too many PA members have checked in.

Nice pics of the new truck! The Sea Ray is awfully nice, too.

Too bad about the vibration in your truck. Which dealer did you purchase from?

John
