2004 SuperCrew 5.4, what is the current PCM. Mine is BME9. I tried to get my dealership to flash this to the current setting but they say this is current. I remember others on this board having theirs flashed, and mine is an early model, October 2003.

It all depends on your engine calibration code. Whats your VIN number, I can run OASIS on Ford and get your current PCM number.

 

If your truck was made in mid oct.2003 the pcm should not be a source of general problems. My lariat was born on 10/6/2003 and i have yet to have it miss a beat.My current code is BME9 same as you .

Are they supposed to put a sticker under the hood if they modify it? I had mine re-flashed a while abck and never noticed any differance and know they did not put a sticker in there. Did they pull the wool over my eyes, knowing this place I would not doubt it. All you guys have said about dealership service has come true, I never thought it would but it did.

Mike, your original PCM is 4L3Z12A650ABK the most current PCM is 4U7Z12A650AAB. Your PCM has gone through two part supersessions. As far as the current flash goes the machine would not look the current flash up with just the VIN and calibration alone. I would need the vehicle in the shop, download the info from the PCM, uplaod it to Ford, and Ford would send me the current update. I hope this helps and I'm sorry I couldn't get the current flash for your vehicle.

 

Is there a reason why all of you are needing your PCM reflashed?
