Daylighters On Bull Bar

How does one bolt on a pair of KC Daylighters onto a bull bar? It seems to me from pictures that the bull bars are welded. I'm stuck trying to figure out how one would be able to get a nut on the bottom of the bolt that mounts the lights.

well, the bolt that comes out from the bottom of the light isnt long enough to exit , through a precut hole, in the bottom of the horizontal bar. i put an entention on my ratchet and rested the washer and lock washer on top of the bolt. it took some trial and error but i got it on there. use some tape to hold the 2 washers on. the lights do come with a back end, a rubber piece and a metal plate but i didnt use them.

Is this hole visable with the skid plate removed? I don't want to have the skid plate on it.

Cool

No, not unless your lying on your back in the driveway looking up at the cross bar. It's not visible from the front at all.

I just spoke with my accessory shop and they have a bull bar for cheap that I would like to get. I also have a set of KC lights from my last truck that I want to mount on it. I was wondering if a standard 6" daylighter will fit. I have not seen one with lights on it in person but the ones I have seen don't look like they stick out far enough for regular KC's (Looks like the back of the light will rum against the bumper). Will I be able to mount these or will I have to get some slim lights?

I think I'm going to go with the SlimLites... Should look a little nicer than two big honkin' 6" Daylighters sittin' there. Sherm, got a profile shot of your bar?

Quick question where did you mount the kc switch? I have the flow though console and would like to mount it next to the cigarette lighter. I was trying to get the plastic piece that goes where the hole for the reverse sensing system but the dealer told me that I have buy the carbon fiber surrond with it and it is $85. Any ideas are welcome.
