Audio Options

My name is Jaime. I currently own 2004 F-150 black on tan interior. I need some good ideas for my truck's audio system. So far, I have removed the original shackles and replaced them to lower and level the vehicle. Anyway pics will go up soon. Thanks for the help.

I think that aftermarket is the way to go so you get exactly what you want from it. Been lovin my system since I originally put it in my 2001 which I now have in my 04. Good luck and have fun with it. I have some pictures in my gallery below of my audio video system.

Hey lanceparkhurst... Great 04 dash kit for your Head Unit!!! Where did you get it??? I hate the ones with the pocket. I have been looking everywhere for something just like that.

Looks great. I want to remove the stereo and place a tv screen to fit the gap. Then insert a cd/mp3/dvd/nagivating somewhere in my dash. But I do not know if it is possible. I would definitely like to hear your system. I also live in houston. east side. If you are comfortable with that.

GreyScab the mounting hardware was custom done by the local stereo shop since there weren't any mounting kits out at the time of install. They just fabricated a mounting plate out of aluminum and I would have to ask them what they used for the trim as I have no idea what material it is.

I think that looks better than the kits out there. Would you mind getting me their contact info so I could find out how much it would cost and if they would even do it?
