Finally got her back!

Well as many of you may have remembered that I am the one who complained about my truck getting hailed on at Lithia Ford of Omaha. Anyways, I kept talking about trading it in for another black '04 or a Mach 1 Mustang. Well as I looked at it today and thought, nah, I'm just going to keep it. Truck looked awesome, rode the same of course including that bed squeak. Hell the truck looked damn nice. Maybe now it's time to start throwing some money into it. Does anyone know when that new Whippler charger comes out?

Well that certainly was a 180.
Glad you decided to keep it!

Understatement or not, glad you kept the truck.
Let see some pics!
Can you notice the repaired spots at all?

I don't have pics of the hail damage. There are no noticeable areas where it was damaged, however there is alot of left over buffing compound in certain areas. The surround around the moonroof opening inside also isn't staying up. I heard they had to take my headliner out to punch the dents out that were on the roof. I don't have a digicam or anything so no current pics but I do have pics of the truck when I first got it.

I had some "serious mild hail damage" (yep, thats what the insurance company called it ) on my 98 Dodge repaired.

This was 1/2" with sporadic 3/4" hail. The 1/2" don't do too much damage. The 3/4" will ruin your day.

I found two flaws on the truck out of 38 dents removed.

1) They over corrected on one dent and attempted to knock it back in. The paint blistered and they did a shi__y touch up job. It was on top of the roof and I'm sure they figured I'd never notice.

I noticed.

2) They missed a dent on the right bed fender. To their credit, I missed it too, I only noticed it in my covered parking at work under the flourescent lights after the fact. It was there, but small.

All in all, Dent Doctor did a bang up job.

Yeah, if I could get a hold of a UV light that is portable, I would like to do a once over on my truck just to make sure they got everything.
