I am getting my 4x4 FXR today. It has 3.73 gears. I want to run 315/70/17s. I am going to get the Autospring leveling kit. How bad will the tires affect the gearing? Will I need a gear change?
Anyone have any pics of their truck with a leveling kit and 315/70/17s?

First off, welcome to f150online! You'll find some cool stuff here. You may want to become familiar with the 'search' option above...it can give you lots of threads for just about any subject.
Secondly, I am assuming that "FXR" was a typo and should have been "FX4"?

I got the TRUCK!!!! Now I have to take a business trip today. The FX4 will get broken in today... 600 mile round trip. They gave me a 100K mile 5 year warrenty for $300!!!
While I was at the dealership, I got the upper billit grill and a rear floor mat for all the way accross the back. Ill get the lower billit grill next week. I thought both were included in the kit but I guess not. Plus they told me they both were in the box. I called and they told me they we sold seperate. Oh well.
I went directly to Big O Tires. They are telling me that the 315/70/17 will not fit with a leveling kit and that I can only run 285/70/17s. I see you guys are runnning them but I think the 285s will be enough till I get a lift.
I think Ill order a set of BFG AT 285/70/17 tomorrow and a leveling kit too.
In reading the threads about the leveling kits, I get that the Autospring 2" is the best. Am I correct?

That is a crock o' shiite. I have a 2" leveling kit and run 315's on mine with no rubbing. I've had them on for over 6000 miles with no issue.
