My New Crankshaft

I just got the new "Heavy Duty" crankshaft I ordered for my engine. What do you think? Should I switch to a 4 bolt main block too?

Oh cmon dzervit, that's only a 6-cylinder! And you call yourself a man, ha.

That thing is huge. I wonder what the power output is like on either of those. What the hell are they used for?

Actually his picture is of the first 12 cylinder unit. They're used for shipping. The 14 Cylinder models (the largest they make) produce: 108,920 hp at 102 rpm

I wonder how many refrigerators you could tow with that?

Holy hell is right!

It's amazing those ships stay afloat with that big ole thing. What does the prop (or however they are propelled) look like? Must be huge as well.

WOW, wonder how much it costs to start. The jets must be shooting fuel like a fire hose.

I've seen quite a few props going down the freeway on flatbeds. They take up most of the trailer, stand a long ways up in the air and make it really hard to pass on a 2 lane highway. They are big!

I get a kick out of the stairs going down into the pan, that's pretty cool.

"....Even at it's most efficient power setting, the big 14 consumes 1,660 gallons of heavy fuel oil per hour....."

Did I ever mention how fuel-efficient my F150 is?

Come to think of it, 1,660 gallons is probably how much gas I use in a YEAR.

just for fun, if the boat was going 20 mi/h it would get 0.012 Miles per gallon, or about 62 ft per gallon.
