Digital display on Radio/Clock
Digital display on Radio/Clock
It's basically unreadable during typical sunny or daylight conditions.
I have the standard XLT radio and it's nearly impossible to drive and figure out what time it is or what radio station is current.
Is there a brighter display or bulb fix in place?

Do you drive with your headlights on? It may sound like a dumb question, but I do. When your headlights are on, the readout on the radio is not as bright. They figure that if your headlights are on, it's probably dark, so they dim the readout.
Just a thought.
Just a thought.

As a matter of fact, I do drive with my headligts on quite a bit. I'll check out your theory soon.

I know...I freakin' rock!
Kidding. Let me know if it works, I am curious if that's what it is.
Seriously - if none of your windows are tinted and that sun comes in and shines on your dash - your gonna have a hard time seeing the radio with the headlights on or off... there is no bulb, it's an LCD display.
