Sorry, couldn't help but post this. I think it looks cool It's part of the dash on my Lariat in the evening just before the sun went down...

Update:
Ok, I think this will fix it so it'll appear here...

Crap...it was working a minute ago. The pic can be found here though:

I'll try to fix the link

UPDATE - ok , I guess that works. I was trying for the 1024x768 resolution, but I could only make the 800x600 work. Oh well...there it is

Sweet lookin' ride you got there. I love the look of the Lariat dash at night. I wish it were a little easier to see at dusk, however. But that's a problem that always has plagued white-faced gauges...

... but I still love the lariat interior! Yours looks like mine with the 40/20/40 seating.

That is funny, I thought the white faced gauges would be easier to read in all lighting conditions. I have the FX4, and when the sun is reflecting on the gauges, I cannot read them very well. I was thinking about getting one the white gauge upgrades/mods for mine. Maybe I won't now. Thank you for the insight.

They are easier to read during the day & when after sunset. In that little bit of time when the sun is still setting & your auto headlamps kick on, it is sometimes a pain to see. 10 minutes later after the sun has set it looks great!!

It's a minor grip, and like I said, I've seen this behavior on all other white-faced-green-backlight gauges. I still wouldn't trade my lariat dash for anything!

Its a beautiful thing!!

My wife and I just got home and its starting to get dark and we noticed how great the Lariat dash gauges look too when the lights came on.

BTW, in addition to your dash looking good, your whole truck looks great!!!

Take care,
Jim

Thanks everyone The camera is a Nikon D70. Just got it maybe 2 weeks ago. I still love my truck and I'm loving the camera as well. If only I could keep the truck spotless every day of the week...ah, that would be great. I think I need a butler to wash it for me all the time...lol It's awesome when it's clean. That black really shines.

I've had no trouble reading the gauges. I think they're very easy to read day or night. I like the green lights in the message center too. Much easier to see than the black LCD on some other models...FX4 has a LCD I think? Anyway, all personal preference of course.
