Dog Hair
Could someone please pass along their hints for getting dog (Golden Retriever) hair off the carpet. The seats are no problem, but the hair seems to be glued to the rug.
Thanks very much.

Sticky Rollers
Not sure of the technical name for them, but you could try one of those rollers that is made up of stcky sheets. I use them on my couch and clothing for whenever my German Shepherd gets hair on them. They work pretty good.
You can find them at your local Wal Mart or K Mart.

1) Smokers... I hear ya! No Smoking!
2) Farters..... hmmmm.......... Not sure I agree with you there... I've been known to rip one or two... 'specially coming home from La Rancherita
(local restaurant). Anyway, if any kids from the neighborhood come around looking for donations, you could offer to pay them to suck the farts out the truck. OK I'm a little evil.
3) Dogs with long *** hair....... I've not seen a dog with excessive amounts of *** hair. Usually it's pretty even across the dog..... Actually I wouldn't let anything or anyone, for that matter, with a plethora of *** hair in my truck... what freaks!!!

Both the "sticky rollers" and playtex rubber gloves will get the dog hair. I use both to remove the occasional shedded hair from my Bullmastiff. Here hair really isn't the problem - it's the slobber on the windows.

You prefer to drive alone.
Nothing wrong with that!
The only problem with that plan is that it can be hard to identify the farter prior to the fart. The repeat offenders are easy - just say no. However, some are less obvious and can be tricky to spot.
I prefer to fight fire with fire. Mexican food helps!
Anything worth doing is worth doing right!

I usually forbid people with long *** hair....
human hair in the truck is way more disgusting than dog hair... especially when its dark and curly.

I have an old sheet I throw down when transporting the pooch. Then the hairy sheet goes in the washer/drying and presto! No hair and ready for the next trip.
To get the exsisting hair out, try your pooch's brush. I use it to get hair off of anything! I have one similar to this:

I do the sheet trick too. I bought a king size sheet that I drape over the rear seats when they're folded up. I have some towels on the floor. I take the sheets out once in awhile to wash them.
I bought the dog hammock for my lab, basically it keeps the dog in this sling protecting the back of the front seats and the rear seats. Plus a sheet under that...I am a little over protective.
