Just like Dad, new Screw!

Today, I traded in my 2002 Sport Trac and picked up a new FX4 Screw. My dad is also on this forum with his XLT Screw, (SteveV), and sometimes I used to post under his name! I'm looking forward to accessorizing my truck ASAP! First up should be a tonneau. I put a RollnLock on my Sport Trac but I'm not too happy how it lasted after 2 years of use. I'm considering either Retrax, or an Advance folding cover.

Anyways, look forward to contributing to this forum.

Bring on the bananas! LOL

Just a few pics in my gallery so far if you're interested:

Thanks guys!

I originally was going to wait and order an '05, but issues with my Sport Trac were starting to annoy me, and I figured I might as well get rid of it before it depreciates in value any further. I found this one with two-tone combo I liked. My FX4 just has the basic options: Console shift/Capt's chairs, 18's, trailer tow, and mirror package.

I asked my salesman if he heard of the vibration problems with the F150. He claims he never heard of any problem like that coming in. I took mine on a thorough test drive and didn't hear/feel anything.

stevevfx4, We share your pain. You were forced to scrape by with only a stripped down "2004 screw cab with FX4 console and buckets, tow package, 18 inch wheels and tow package". I cant imagine getting a new FX4 without the three speed electric butt wiper but i hope you find the courage to fight your way through that obstacle and survive
