Hello all,

I've been reading your forum for several weeks since I bought my new truck and thought I would introduce myself.

I've been a Jeep guy for the last 8 years, but recently bought a fishing boat and the Jeep was a great vehicle, but not the greatest at pulling the boat. I really liked the new F150 so I took the plunge. The F150 pulls so well that it seems like it doesn't even know the boat is back there.

I got a silver FX4 and it is awesome. Going from a Jeep to this truck was a bit of an adjustment (ride, handling, weight) but it sure is nice.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello.

Later,

Mark Sanders

Mark - Welcome! I see you're from Ford country. I live in Western PA, but I had the opportunity to work in Dallas for about six months in the early 80's. Beautiful area - loved every minute of it.

I even got to see some legendary places like Cowboy Stadium and South Fork ranch, where the TV series Dallas was filmed. I'm sure this stuff is old hat to you, but I was impressed.

Anyway, enjoy the forum. This is a great place to get all your questions answered about your new truck.

Thanks to all for the kind welcome.

I pulled my boat to the lake again yesterday and I love this truck more and more everyday.

I'll take some pictures of it tomorrow at the lake and then I'll post them.

Thanks again,

Mark

Smile Welcome!

You're gonna love this site! 55 plus thousand members...over one million threads...well, do the math..plenty here to keep you happy and motivated.
My truck is 7 years old, and it's like a second honeymoon!
In fact, the only reason I can't post any pics of my 97 is cuz of the work I had to do to justify plunking down the $350.00 plus for the 1715 Micro Tuner. But.....it was sooooo worth it *and* that HP copier scanner printer at Wally World is Gonna be mine real soon.....yep!
Welcome....use the search feature and be prepare to become hooked.....just like the rest of us!
