6" Slvr Lifted FX4 Supercab!`
OK, I dropped my Screw off an hour ago for the daystar. I saw a 6" pro comp FX4 being delivered and IMMEDIATELY changed my order for this kit which will be done tomorrow!
I took 6 low res photo's of the one that was there today. If someone can tell me how to post these photo's here, I can SHOW THEM TO ALL OF YOU! You dont want to miss this baby with 315/70/17 BFG AT's and Weld Stonecrushers!
I'm putting the same kit with same tires, but with Weld Sidewinders. I'll be on line for the next hour so if I hear back on how to post, I'll do it now, otherwise I'll post them tonight 8pm pst.

04F150SCCL,
You'll either need to create a gallery by clicking this link, or post them to a website and then post the link.
I'm glad you had the chance to see the 6" lift...now at least you know you're getting what you really want. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics of your lift, and wheels/tires when you get your truck back.

That is BADA$$! How much does that cost? Does it cancel void your warranty?

That is a nice set-up. It looks like you may need some aftermarket fender flares to go with the lift and tires. The tires do protrude out and I would be worried about paint damage from the tires throwing stones.
I'll let everyone know tomorrow what the damage $$$ was. I'm supplying the tires, shop is installing the kit and rims/mount/balance. I also had some credit with the shop, so after we square this all out tomorrow, I'll let everyone know the end cost.
BashamFX$: As far as warranty, I believe it does void out your "suspension only" warranty, but then Pro Comp warranties their suspension. This is also, as with most problems, dealer oriented (some dealers will, and some wont. Mine does cover all warranty even with lift kit). Especially since this kit is so simple (ie, rear lift is just a $5 looking bigger block, and different shocks nothing else)
Kit info: The kit is VERY impressive. I base this on my own experience with Rancho, Whiplash, and Fabtech (the rest I cant compare cause I've never had any other.) Parts seem to be well made, and powdercoating seems to be of high quality (although it is grey/black, and I prefer all black IMO). Spindles are GIGANTIC and I would fall off my A$$ if I heard someone were to break one.
Also, if you install the kit, or have it installed, the instructions say to install the front lower drop bracket bolts from back to front. I would prefer front to back, since IMO I think looking at the truck from the front isn't as impressive with 4" threads and a bolt poking out in front. But other than that, perfect.
The steering components and brackets are what I think stands out the most with this kit as far as quality goes. A 10/10/10 in every aspect of design and engineering for a truck part. This thing is beefy too.
Also, the ride is unbelievably close to factory, and I mean scary close. Kit uses factory front shocks and coils. It does not add any tension or pressure to the factory coil as the Dayster kit does, which I think slightly effects ride. Rear is just a block and 9000 shocks, with factory springs.
I'm not just saying this because it's going on my own truck though. And no I dont work for Pro comp, nor do I have any affiliation, just an enthusiast here. But if I did, my sales pitch would simply be, "Drive THIS truck!, then let me know what YOU think."
My negatives, simply, I wish they would have put this out sooner, and I think color coating the parts is a "touchy" personal preference that I think Pro Comp should have left it with the customer to either choose, or they should have left it all black!

Any chance of BFG A/T 37's?
I'm in the market for a 6" lift, but I really would like to get 37" tires. From the pictures it looks like it maybe possible, BFG claims actual tire OD@36.3" for their A/T 37x12.5x17. I would like to stay away from a body lift, but if I have to I guess Peformance Accessories is almost ready to release it. I know re-gearing would be an issue as well. Also, could somebody with a 6" lift measure the overall height of their ride for me? Thanks.
I'll measure it for you this afternoon.
I'm also changing my gears to 4:56, but I have the LS which now has the infamous "shudder." So I have to get that fixed first, then get my gears changed. I wonder if that LS is even worth keeping??Any one have any thoughts on that?
BTW, I just got a call this morning that my SnugTop SS shell is in, so I'll be picking up my truck from the lift shop around noon, then taking it straight to the SnugTop ddealer for installation!

Got the truck back late so I didn't get a chance to stop by the SnugTop dealer to have my SS shell put on. My appointment for that is tomorrow morning @8am so I'll try to get some pics up by the afternoon.
Also I posted pics of my navigation as well. I have many more pics I'll put up tomorrow as well with measurements and what not for the total height and tid-bits.
