What I want to know Screwdrive, is do you work in the drivetrain plant?

Yes, it is true Ford will no longer make Captain Chairs. They have been fazed out and will be replaced with General Chairs.....

Pardon my lapse of humor on that one - It's been a really, really long week.

err.....Captain....General.....

Maybe if you said "Admirals Chairs"....

I'd have to agree on the assessment of Atlanta dealerships. I ended up going all the way to Clanton Alabama to buy my FX4. Good people.

Yeah, and I heard the new Lincoln LT trucks will be equipped with CEO Chairs -- as they are better suited to the market demographic they are aiming for.

I believe the "captains chairs" subject has been discussed here in the past . but if i'm correct, if you get a lariat with the 40/20/40 seats the (2) "40" sections of the seat are the same as what you get when you pay extra for "captains chairs and flo thru console" .If I had known this before I ordered , thinking the extra money would get a "better" seat , instead all you really get is floor shifter and flo thru console.

That would be a cool upgrade....... Not you are not just the "Captain" of your truck anymore, you are the "Admiral." I think that is what Ford should start calling it. Hey, you might get some sap like me pay an extra 200 bucks for it

Problem with Admirals Chairs is that they would be in the back since Admirals don't get to drive.
