Stockpile of accessories

My garage is starting to get junked off with accessories for my new truck (which I dont have).

I have got my billett grill and bumper grill, front level kit, vent visors, bug deflector, red emblem covers, xm radio and cell phone holder.

Im still waiting on the a.r.e. bed cover and painted step boards, im sure they will beat the truck in too.

Man if i just had the truck now I could get to work on these accessories.

I know the feeling! I could have opened my garage and been in business myself. I got a pretty good deal on most of my stuff and thought about putting it on E-bay and buying it again!!

Hang tight man, it'll be here before too long and you're gonna love it!

lol, thanks for the offer TruBluScru, hopefully I will have a truck to put them on in a few more weeks.

I already waxed my grill and bumper inserts, how sad is that?

Damn that's funny.

I certainly spent a lot of time dreaming about my truck before it came. I found a pic of one just like mine and had it on the desktop of my computer at work for weeks. People would come in and make comments like "you have a picture of your truck on your computer?" which would probably be enough to make anyone feel a little silly. It only got worse when I had to explain that no, it wasn't my truck, but somebody elses truck that looks just like mine. It's hard to describe to people how long the wait feels.....

I have had a picture on my desktop at work since the day I saw the SCrew came in "BLAZING YELLOW". I drove over to the Ford dealer and grabbed my camera and took a pic of it from my car and put it onto my desktop.

I told people that it was my truck. About a month later I finally said the heck with it and went over and bought it!

AWESOME truck overall!

Only accessory I have so far is the Motorcraft Service Manual CD( that thing as ton of great info), so that I can finalize my design on a dashboard reconfigure. I plan on installing an 8" LCD screen, moving the existing head unit down and axing the ashtray in place of the climate controls.

My Westin step bars are sitting (in the box) in my parents' living room. I'm hiding the fact from my roommate that I'm getting the truck. It's kind of a game he and our friends play -- never telling the others of such large purchases. Other purchases (not by me) have been houses, boats, pool tables, hot tubs, etc.

I also have silver bulbs hidden in my room. The rest of my mods will be serviced by various shops around town. But trust me, they all know what vehicle I'm getting. They remember me when I stop in to look at their stuff for the 2nd and 3rd time. But, I'm getting some really good deals. It never hurts to ask. When it comes to marked up parts with labor, there's always room for movement if they want my business.

When I walked into the dealership the other day, I introduced myself to the accessories manager. He knew my name and what truck I was getting because I kept asking about various mods/services from my sales rep. He was very helpful ... and again gave me some good deals.

Yes, I've had a pic of the black/tan Lariat SCrew on my PC desktop since November. I ordered my truck after the 1st of the year. Once I ordered it, I put my headshot inside the truck. It looks really good (quite real) ... I'm pretty good with graphic manipulation. But, it's still cheesy. HAHAHAHA!!!

I have an Excel spreadsheet with all of my aftermarket desires, shops, prices, etc. I've got it all mapped out.
