too many guys buying trucks
too many guys buying trucks
Its getting kind of silly on this board. I`ve seen numerous posts that say "Its here!" "banana time!" "On order!" too many guys are hastily buying a 2004 F-150 when they dont need it. Sure, its a gorgeous truck, but if you already have a 3-4 year old truck you might as well keep it. It also seems silly to buy a truck with all these goodies you dont need and then turn around and squander even more money on aftermarket stuff.

Exactly...
Worry about your own finances, apparently if people are ordering/buying, they have the means to do so and actually WANT to. I don't buy things to impress others....I buy them 'cause I want them.
Well, first you buy a 4.6 complain about that then buy a 5.4 and rave about that for awhile and now you ordered a GMC ... I wander who is wasting money.
It is people like you who ruin good boards like this. I have left these boards because trolls and I think its gonna happen again real soon. To much BS.

just ordered my GMC Sierra
Hey All,
It's apparent that f+f has little worthwhile to contribute, and seems to get a kick out of instigating negative threads that provide no benefit for most members of this forum.
As Closer9 already said on another thread this morning, just ignore the f+f posts and then we won't have to keep coming across them as we "next thread" through the forum.
Please don't "feed the trolls", just ignore them and they will starve.
John

I have a total of 11 cars/trucks myself and there's only me and my girlfriend in the house. The oldest vehicle is a 2001 model. My girlfriend owns 2 other cars so that makes 13 vehicles altogether sitting at home.
As for aftermarket modifications, my STX alone has about $28k in mods alone (installed and uninstalled), which is more expensive than the $25k I paid for the truck itself, making the truck about $53k worth.
It's the fun factor, not the money.

Although the post is contradictory, I can't say too many guys are buying trucks- that's who makes trucks popular. Ithink too many WOMEN are buying trucks...
But, there is a lot of butt slapping going on... Nice truck, got mine, woo-hoo.
I just wannt to see the pics, and see what you guys did to the aftermarket.
Damn, I never thought a person would get banned for a different opinion.
