Called VOPC at 1pm EST and message said as of Jan 12th vehicle has been produced. I noticed many here had a build wk of Jan 12. So maybe everyone will be as happy as I am. Wonder how long it takes to get it from KC to Virginia. Man I can't wait.

Thanks hairfield1. I'll check the VOPC (since I don't have a @#$%&# VIN yet) and see if I'm in the 'Produced" category. Looks like two new 04 Lariat 4X4s coming to Virginia soon.

 

Took mine about a week from KC in late September. You're goina love it!!

 

What is "VOPC" ??

Mine was ordered almost 5 weeks ago and I still have no vin.

My sales guy told me only he can get me the info. on my truck.

Can I get information from a different source?

What is the VOPC number and what info do you have to give to get some news? I ordered a Lariat screw on 10/31/03 and I do not yet have a VIN.

you will need the following before you call:
Dealer code- a five digit code without the alpha code example:
F27070, you would use 27070
Body style- three digit alpha/numeric example W14
Order number- four digit numeric
call 1-800-962-3746
press 1

this information can be obtained from your dealer or it's on your DORA copy when you ordered the truck. You don't need a VIN to check if you have the above information. Good Luck

 

I called the VOPC with my VIN and they would not give me any info because I was a customer not the dealer. I tried to use the automated system and that piece of crap wouldnt work. I'm dying here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

IT'S ALIVE! VOPC reports one Red/Beige 04 4x4 Lariat Screw has been produced as of the 13th! hairfield1 and ptownfire ... add one more screw coming to Virginia. Now let's see if it can arrive before the month is out.

I'm glad you guys can get some info. I'm kinda hanging out here in the dark.

 

ptownfire - if you have the order number, body style and dealer number use the non-VIN option on the VOPC phone system. I agree the phone system is old technology, but if you don't mess with the VIN (too many numbers for the system to understand) and speak slow and clear the VOPC system works very well (compared to no info at all). Also by using the on-line order number option you don't have to speak to anyone and they won't know your not the dealer. Just trying to help.
