How do you post gallery link?

I set up my gallery and thought I did it right.
But my threads don't post a link to my gallery.
The info is there, but it says the html is not active.
I also wanted to add my truck pic to my sig, but can't figure it out.

Any clues?

In the Signature portion of your user profile, enter the information in bold below to set up a signature link to your gallery
(where I started with a * below, insert a "["...you can also substitute other words for where I entered "My gallery")

*url=https://www.f150online.com/galleries/mygallery.cfm?gnum=3271]My gallery[/url]

The above already contains your gallery #.

In order top get a pic in your sig line, first go to your gallery and select the photo you want in your sig line. Open that photo, and scroll near the bottom and click where it says "Forum Codes". Copy the caption information under "Thumbnail Image" and paste this into the Signature area of your user profile. That should do it.

If you ever want to post a thumbnail image into a post, you do it the same way, except paste it right into the post.

Good luck,
John

Do you have to check "show signature" on each new thread?
Is there a default that leaves it checked all the time?

The default is for it to post without signature, unless you check the "show signature" before hitting "Submit Reply". I don't think there is a setting to automatically show signature all of the time, but I could be wrong. Anyone?
