Seriously now, I do like the auto headlight control, but would also like to know where the sensor or sensor adjustment is so I can have them come on a little earlier.
I got used to not thinking about headlights with my old truck, it had an alarm system that handled the headlights for me. So it's nice to have it on the 04 f150. One particularly nice feature of that old arlarm was the lights would come on if I used the windshield wipers. When it rains during the day, this is the most likely time you'll leave your headlights on, so with it all automatic, that doesn't happen.
I'll have to check and see if the lights come on with the wipers on this truck.

The head light sensor should be near the front grille. When I pull into my garage during the day my head lights come on when the front of the truck comes close to the wall. I'm sure it's the shadow of the truck thats telling the sensor it's dark. Of course the auto sensor shuts them off after turning the truck off.
