$5500 off all 04's

Just saw this in this mornings paper. (Portland OR.)
XLT, Larait, Screw etc.
Just thought I'd toss it out there for all you potential buyers.

What's the fine print?
Off MSRP, includes $1000 loyalty rebate (which you may not qualify for), includes $1000 out of sales persons pockets if he's your father....

You do realize that the "Heritage" is also available in the 2004 MY? Never take newspaper ads at face value. Know what you want to pay before going in. A little research (or an X plan) goes a long way. Don't ever rely on the dealer to help you save money.

Is that a dealership offer or a Ford offer?

Local paper here in Columbus had a dealer offering the following off of all 2004 (excl. heritage and supercrews):

$4,200 off MSRP
$1,000 off if you qualify for Loyalty
$5,200 - not too shabby.

That price can be had on a loaded Lariat but
not on a base model.

That is basically at little above invoice. And the $1000 is from Ford, not the dealer.

Invoice is about what most people are paying anyway.

Make sure any rebates are taken off the invoice price, NOT the MSRP (sticker) price.

I called the dealer and they said it doesn't involve any loyalty rebate, perhaps you could add that in I don't know. It's on all Reg, Scab, Screw, and Larait. He wasn't sure if it was a Ford promo or just a dealer promo but I'll bet it's a Ford deal.
And yes it's off MSRP.
If it was off invoice there wouldn't be any left 5 min after the doors opened.
I don't know if it's a great deal or not, I agree you should do your research first, I just saw it and posted it as a tool for guys looking to buy.

That's a real good price!

Guy that works for me just bought SCrew FX-4 on A-Plan. Stickered just over $39,000. He got about $6,300 off that MSRP if I remember correctly!

Talking $5500 OFF!!!

I got $5000 off and I owned a GM product before. I didn't even receive the $1000 Owner Loyalty. I suppose I didn't do to bad. No A Plans or nothing like that, just a normal guy.

Marshal Mize Ford...

...in Chattanooga, Tennessee is running a radio ad that says $6000 off all new 04 F-150s. I just heard it yesterday. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come from the Ford Finance people....I haven't been by the lot as I bought my last truck from them and don't plan on going back. There are other dealers in my area but I haven't heard there ads..yet.

The best thing to do is check it out and hold out for the best deal if it don't work drive what you got awhile longer.
